Senior Hardware Systems Engineer
We seek a highly skilled and organised Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to join our hardware department. This role is crucial for overseeing high-level design, selecting key components, and providing technical support to our ODM partners who handle product development and production.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to ensure that all hardware-related tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Lead high-level hardware design and component selection processes.
- Develop product and test requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to our development and manufacturing partners during design, research, PCB layout, schematics, and production stages.
- Ensure all technical aspects of hardware projects are understood and managed effectively.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from a hardware perspective.
- Conduct thorough reviews and checks to ensure all hardware components and designs meet quality standards.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the successful completion of hardware projects with regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
- Maintain organised documentation and project management records.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware design and project management.
- Strong understanding of PCB layout, schematics, and production processes.
- Understanding of product compliance assessment processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with international partners and teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- The ability to document work accurately.
- Leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of projects.
- Fluent English abilities in writing and speaking.
- Experience with Wi-Fi integration, software integration & development, thermal management, and housing design is highly desirable.
