Senior Controller

We are looking for a dedicated and independent Business Analyst to a newly created position in our Finance Team located in Glostrup.
As a Senior Controller in Icotera you will be part of an informal and dynamic environment with a short decision making process, ensuring great opportunities to impact and drive improvements. You will be working closely together with accountants and analysts in both Poland and Denmark to ensure accurate, reliable and timely financial reporting, forecasting and analysis as well as optimization and automization of controlling procedures.
Our common goal is to support top management with accurate, detailed and insightful analysis together with value creating business recommendations. In order to succeed, you will have to be data driven and possess strong IT- and analytical skills.
You will report to the Head of Accounting & Control, Carsten Vinter Kristensen located in Denmark.

Your responsibilities:
- Preparation and controlling of monthly reporting deck for internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecasting and budgeting processes working closely together with line managers ensuring insightful follow ups and information sharing.
- Performance evaluation and variance analysis.
- Cash flow- and NWC- analysis.
- Lead the implementation of Activity-based costing.
- Sales forecast controlling and development of forecast procedures.
- Ensuring high quality of business case modeling.
- Provide robust financial analytics to support management decision making.
- Identify, lead and support improvement projects related to finance- and business analysis across business units, functions and locations.
Your qualifications:
- You have a higher education in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar combined with +3 years of work experience in a similar job.
- Experience in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- You possess strong controlling and analytical skills, are investigative and have a structural mindset combined with a natural attention to details.
- You are a self-starter who can work independently striving for results and persistent in achieving targets.
- You have a strong sense of urgency and strive to deliver quality in your work.
- You are a team player understanding the need for supporting and collaborating hands-on together with your own and other business units.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changes and new ways of approaching current work tasks.
- You are confident in challenging the business strategy with the ability to influence decision making and focus on continuous improvement.
- You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written in English) and are familiar with working in an international environment.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point and Power BI.
- Experience working with ERP systems - preferably Microsoft Navision/Business Central.
