Junior Business Analyst

As a Junior Business Analyst you will play a central role in exploiting our extensive data resources for management reporting in Power BI. You will be part of our Analytics & Planning team, who drive projects on translating data into actionable insights for the whole organization, improving efficiency and enhancing data driven decisions.

You will get the opportunity to design and improve Icotera’s Power BI reports and visualization in all areas of analytics, planning, controlling and reporting, providing you with a wide range of opportunities to develop your business intelligence competencies.

Your responsibilities: 

• Designing and maintaining Power BI reports
• Analyzing data, exploring trends, anomalies and opportunities
• Data quality assurance, running checks and validation procedures, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
• Assist on business problem solving, collaborating with stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide solutions
• Assist on designing our data architecture
• Ad hoc analysis and presentations.

Required skills and qualifications:

• You have a higher education in Data Science DTU associated with passion for Business intelligence and between 0-2 years of work experience in a similar job
• Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
• Preferably knowledge of working in SQL or another query language
• You are a self-starter who can work independently striving for results and persistent in achieving targets. You have a strong sense of urgency and strive to deliver quality in your work - all at the same time.
• You are a team player understanding the need for supporting and collaborating hands-on together with your own and other business units.
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changes and new ways of looking at our current work tasks.
• You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written in English)
