Technical Pre-Sales Manager
Icotera is a manufacturer of Fiber To The Home termination devices, advanced Wi-Fi routers and access points for the Network Provider and Service Provider industry, tailored to the residential market. To expand our reach in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Icotera is looking for an experienced Technical Pre-sales Manager. With your technical approach, you’ll be part of the CTO lead Innovations department, working closely with the pre-sales team.
Icotera is looking for someone who possesses technical knowledge at a sufficient level to independently manage the full Icotera portfolio. You will also have the support of experts in resolving complex issues. Your contribution, including traveling, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction, will be crucial. Your responsibilities include:
- Understanding your markets, local regulations, and the customers' requirements.
- Perform pre-sales sessions with customers, whether remote or on-site, via webinars or other mediums.
- Guiding the Icotera customers in product testing and leading the process of product integration.
- Work closely with our Germany-based sales team.
- Align strategy and work on continuous improvements with the TPMs, and management team.
- Technical understanding of the full Icotera portfolio to a level required to manage the above independently.
- When needed, engage with the Icotera expert team to quickly resolve complicated matters.
- Bridge customers and the Icotera Product Management team to ensure full alignment and high customer satisfaction.
- Travel for customer visits, workshops and conferences.
- Lead role in answering RFI/RFPs for your customers.
Your qualifications:
- Able to bridge the technical and non-technical world, and with confidence present the Icotera message.
- Are technical able within Network devices and Wi-Fi.
- Either have or can quickly gain ISP knowledge (FTTH, networks, PPPoE, CWMP, USP, etc.).
- Speak native German and English on an advanced level.
- Proficient in preparing, improving and making presentations for customer sessions.
- Organized and structured in your work and communication.
- Experience with software from Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Google (mail, Apps), and Microsoft (Office 365, PowerBI).
- Have a mindset for continuous improvement and high quality.
